TWO YEARS OLD!!!!

I can't believe this baby turned two!! What a FAST two years it's been!

Excited to see his gifts when he came downstairs!

Running straight for the basketball goal --

"In the hole, tootsie roll!"

And of course a birthday wouldn't be complete without a new set of farm equipment (and a new train set, which went unpictured).

And the best birthday celebration of all was at none other than the BOUNCE HOUSE! We had a Train themed birthday party at Inflatable Fun Factory for Lincoln and all his little buddies (and there sure are a lot of kids around his age!). We all know how much Lincoln loves the bounce house! Above is Lincoln bouncing with Jack Ungethiem.

As much time as he spent getting Mim-mim to bounce with him, mommy managed to steal some bounce time too.

Liam helped celebrate as much as he could!

I mean, look at all these little rascals! Pictured: Lindsay and Piper Powers, Rachelle and Ashton Thorpe, Grady Hilt, Evan Hayes, Ellison McCormick, Cali Powers, Linc, Kiera Moseley, Liam, Me, Jack Ungethiem (in my grasp!) and Kolten and Kara Brackett. Good times were had by all, but mostly by Lincoln!

Lincoln isn't a big fan of cupcakes, but he does LOVE the icing!

Thanking Ellison for her gift!

"Opee it peeeeease..."

Nanny and Papoos

Mommy and Daddy

And after the party we headed back to the house to open Mim-mim and pap's present (as it was too heavy to carry to the bouncehouse!). A TRAIN TABLE!! "ChooChoo!!" says Lincoln. "Where the heck are we gonna put it?" says mommy....

Thanks Mim-mim and pap!

Uncle Nana and Aunt Kissen came down a few days prior to the party to go to birthday dinner with us. We had a good time at Old Chicago (Lincoln's favorite). Aunt Kissen is ready to have baby Annalee anyday now!

Lincoln update:

Lincoln is now wearing 2t pants, 3t shirts - size 8.5 xwide shoe.

He weighs 30 pounds 4oz (which is 74%) and is 36.5'' tall (91%)

We are still working towards potty training, and making small progresses....

Our favorite foods are chicken nuggins with sauce (ketchup), pizza, pretzels with sauce (cheese), gummy snacks, candin (candy), suckers, and choky milk (chocolate milk). As a matter of fact, when we say our nightime prayers, he always thanks Jesus for suckers and choo-choos. :)

Speaking of Jesus, while shopping the other day, he comes running around the corner of an aisle yelling "Baby Jesus, Baby Jesus!!" - upon looking I realize he is yelling at a Muslim lady wearing a burkha... Oops...

Lincoln loves to play any kind of ball. Basketball, golf, catch, whatever - he is in! He also still loves his trains and tractors.

He says the absolute funniest (and unexpected) things. The other day, Nanny was borrowing a space heater, and as she put it in her car, he looked at her very seriously and said "Leave it hewe!" And he's recently started being very independent, stating "Lincoln do it!" Unless it's regarding making a mess, to which he replies, "Wiam do it!" And he responds to questions now with a very serious "Wes" (yes). The funniest was the other day in Hobby Lobby, he was really putting on a show for some lady in our aisle. He was telling her everything! How "ho-ho drives a wagon on roof" and such, when she asked him how old he was. I wasn't surprised that he responded two, because I've heard that before. What caught me off guard was when she asked how old Liam was and Lincoln, before I had a chance to, responded, "Um... Six Months" just as clear as a bell. I'm sure he's heard me say it a thousand times, I just can't believe he picked up on it!

We have recently become OBSESSED with The Wizard of Oz (thanks Mimmim). He sings along with the songs, he hollers for "Dorfy" (Dorothy) - he says "gimme back my swippers!" He also dances with the munchens (munchkins), and growls at the Nekkid witch (obviously-wicked witch). We are required to watch it at least once daily. I guess it's better than the wiggles!

Lincolns bedtime is at 9-930 and he still sleeps in his crib (he hasn't tried to climb out, so I'm in no hurry!). He usually gets up around 730 or 8, and he still takes a 2 hour nap in the afternoon.

He is such a good, smart, well-behaved (most of the time) baby, and he makes me laugh constantly (especially when he gives the "side-eye"!). We are so very blessed to have Lincoln, and I love him so much!! Happy Birthday baby boy!
