Happy Thanksgiving!

"Run Mim-mim and Pap!"

This year we spent the weekend before Thanksgiving with my family, and Thanksgiving Day with Ashley's family. A little less running back and forth than normal! We crammed both dinners at my family's into one weekend incase Kristen went into labor.

There are no pictures of pregnant Kristen per her command, er, um... Request. :)

Great Ninny and Papoo Douglas and cousin Tyson.

Mimmim and Pap

On Thanksgiving Day, we got up and watched the Thanksgiving Day Parade on CBS while having "turkey cookies" for breakfast. Lincoln LOVED the parade! Everytime they cut to the people talking, he'd yell, "Mo-more balloons!"

And Liam loved it, too. But he REALLY loved that nibble of cookie he got!

That night we headed to the Jonas' for dinner. There was quite a crew there this year! Alesia and Rob moved to Owensboro, so they were there with Katie, Olivia, and her boyfriend Brad. Nanny made it in this year, as well as Rob's dad, Bob. Then with Brad and Jaime and us, I guess there was a total of 16! And Jaime's parents stopped by for dessert, so 18! A housefull!

We have a lot to be thankful for!

Potty Time!

Guess who's super excited to be wearing big boy underwear!?!

At two years and one month, we are well on our way to being potty trained! We haven't had any peepee accidents for almost two weeks now!

Number two is still giving us a *little* trouble, but hey, who's complaining! So proud of my big boy!

The in-betweens

I've run across so many random shots while trying to catch up, that I've decided to just clump them into a random post. So here goes - here's some photos I've caught "in-between posts." Eating/loving baby mum-mums

All dressed up! This is, not surprisingly, the best picture I got.

Liam - 6 months

Baby boy is growing like a weed! We have officially hit the 6 month mark...

Liam is such a happy, easy going baby. He laughs at anyone, and I mean anyone, who will give him a little attention. He LOVES his brother, and will break his neck to watch him run around the living room. I must say, he is a lot louder than Lincoln ever thought about being - but he is also much more laid back about letting people hold him.

His babbling is out of control these days, and he is very good with the n sound, and the d sound - so we hear a lot of Nanana and Dadada... He also does a really funny noise that sounds like he's trying to scare you.

I swear I think he may be part Octopus the way he grabs at everything. And you better believe if you take something away from him, that you ARE going to hear about it!

This is what happens when you turn your back for 2 seconds while feeding Liam yogurt - it ends up EVERYWHERE!

Here are Liam's stats:

Weighs an even 20 pounds (78%) and is 27.5 inches long (74%).

Wears 12-18 month clothing and a size 3 shoe

Can roll back to belly and belly to back, but does so VERY rarely!

Sits up unsupported with ease

Now has his front two bottom teeth

Can play peek-a-boo

Loves pear babyfood, and loves to chew on apples.

Takes 3-4 8oz bottles a day and two containers of babyfood (levels 1,2, and 3)

Also has taken a liking to gerber little crunchies. Eats the TAR out of them!

Liam also loves to give big kisses - you just have to watch out or you may get nibbled on!

He normally goes to bed around 9 or 930, and sleeps till 7. Usually takes a small catnap midmorning, one midevening, and usually a good 2 hour nap with Lincoln around 2.

Liam doesn't really look so much like Mommy. He looks A LOT like my brothers baby pictures (I mean, it's kinda scary) and he also favors pictures of daddy as a baby.

This kid wants to be in the floor playing with Lincoln so bad, it's not even funny! He tries his best to wriggle out of your arms so he can play.

I mean, look what a chubster!

He is such a happy little turkey! Happy 6 months baby boy!

Halloween 2011

Welcome to the Morris' - Where knights and dragons reside!!

This year, we started our Halloween festivities by attending "Boo at the Zoo" with Matt, Jackie, and Ellison McCormick. It was our first year to go, and we had a blast! There were lots of vendors handing out treats, and Lincoln loved it.

We definitely have to make this a yearly event!

Although getting a picture of all three of them after all that sugar sure was a task!

Our next task was to carve our pumpkins. Last year, Lincoln really got into the "goo" but this year, he did more watching than carving. I gave him some markers and let him tackle his own pumpkin, but he was more intrigued by watching us.

And Liam loved watching! He hung out in the wagon beside us and just took it all in.

Our next excursion was to the library on Halloween day to attend Halloween story and craft time. And this is Lincoln's FIRST EVER craft! He actually put all those pieces on completely by himself!! I told him what the piece was, and he placed it on - and I was pretty impressed by the placement! Actually, when it was finished, I nearly cried it was so sweet.

And last, but definitely not least, we've got Halloween! I wondered how Lincoln would do with it (cause I knew Liam wouldn't care as long as we were moving around!!). I didn't have to wonder long - he caught on super quick! He would walk towards a house saying, "knock knock - opee doe pease!" and would people would answer the door, he said, "tick or teat!" So cute. Why didn't I video that??? We actually stayed out till nearly dark, just walking the neighborhood, before it got pretty chilly and we headed back to hand out candy for the rest of the night.

Moose even got into the holiday spirit!

I think Lincoln liked watching all the trick or treaters as much as he liked trick or treating! Every time someone came to the door, he would run to help pass out candy. And if someone was dressed scary, he would always comment "cazy guy!" (crazy guy)

Liam watched in amazement from his walker for most of the night.

What a fun Halloween we had this year! I can't imagine how crazy next year will be with TWO walkers!!
