Haaaapppy Haaallllllooooowwweeeeeeennn! One of my favorite holidays! So fun!
Carving some pumpkins in the garage
The boys with their "angry birds" pumpkins
Lincoln didn't want to touch the "guts"
But Liam wasn't scared!
Cutie Patooties!
Tonto and the Lone Ranger
It was raining on Halloween, but we took the golf cart through the neighborhood when it let up. The boys weren't too interested in hitting up a million houses anyway, so it worked out perfect! Such a huge change from our last neighborhood to this one. In Keystone, we had an easy 200 trick or treaters, at our new house, we had ONE and it was the neighbor! We did have two neighbors come over to bring treats for the kids though - so nice. The cutest cowboys and indians I know. :)

Reid's Orchard 2013
Do you think we like orchards? We only hit up every one within a 3 hour radius! Reid's Orchard in Owensboro was a new one to us this year. We went with our friends Kolten and Beckham (and Kara) Brackett.
Tryin out some karate moves in the corn maze
Thank goodness for friends with camera skills. :)
Pickin apples. Kara uses hers for smoothies. Healthy girl... We made apple pie and applesauce!
That Beckham. He is just the sweetest little chub!
All too excited to be using the ladder to pick!
Love these sweet boys...

Papaw Douglas' 80th Birthday
Earlier this year, Papaw Vincent suffered a severe stroke. He was life flighted to Louisville for some experimental treatment to break up the clot and the outlook was pretty grim. The treatment worked, praise the Lord, and Papaw has seen great improvement! He has since returned home, receives therapy through a home health service, and is able to get around his house by himself! He still suffers from some confusion at times, and his speech is often difficult to understand - but these things are mild when considering the primary prognosis. We're thankful that he is still here with us, and that he was able to celebrate his 80th birthday this fall!

Blowing out his candles (if you'll look closely, you'll notice he already got into the blue icing!)
The family line. What a crazy bunch....
